Brussel sprouts (and parmesan-crusted chicken, but I really want to talk about the sprouts!)
for the Brussel sprouts: just heat some butter/olive oil in a large skillet on medium until frothy. Add some diced garlic and let it brown a bit. Slice the brussel sprouts lengthwise and toss them in. Cover and let steam until they are sufficiently moist and tender, then turn up the heat a bit, toss them around, and let them brown to your liking. Sprinkle plenty of pepper and sea-salt on top!

Damn girl. Mike claims that he doesn't "like" BS even though he says he hasn't reallllly tried them (doesn't make sense, I know)....but after I makes some of these...I'm SURE we will be lovers of 'em!
